The Last of Us 2 é eleito o jogo do ano no The Game Awards 2020; veja a lista de vencedores

Em 2020, o jogo The Last of Us Part 2, desenvolvido pela Naughty Dog, foi o grande vencedor do evento The Game Awards, realizado virtualmente em decorrência da pandemia de Covid-19. Ao todo, ele conquistou sete dos dez troféus aos quais concorria.

Outros jogos como Hades, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 e o jogo móvel viral Among Us, que acompanhou a rotina de muita gente durante a quarentena, também fizeram sucesso na cerimônia e ganharam em algumas categorias.
