Evento ajudará soldados armênios feridos que lutaram pela liberdade do país

O System of A Down anunciou que fará a sua primeira live oficial no próximo sábado, 30 de janeiro. A apresentação será gratuita e transmitida pelo canal do Youtube da banda a partir das 14h (horário de Brasília).
A proposta da live do System of A Down é beneficente, com objetivo em ajudar os quase mil soldados armênios feridos que lutaram pela liberdade do país em meio ao confronto com Turquia e Azerbaijão pela região de Artsakh, que teve o cessar-fogo em 10 de novembro de 2020 e causou mais de 300 mortes.
Durante a apresentação, os telespectadores poderão fazer doações para ajudar na causa apoiada.

Em comunicado oficial pelo Instagram, o grupo do vocalista Serj Tankian e do baterista John Dolmayan informou que haverá "convidados especiais" durante a live, mas não deu pistas de quem serão os participantes.
Como bônus, ainda será exibido um clipe inédito para a música “Genocidal Humanoidz” após a apresentação.

Em 2020, o System of A Down divulgou as músicas “Genocidal Humanoidz” e "Protect The Land" após 15 anos sem lançar material inédito.
