O ataque terrorista ocorrido durante o show da cantora Ariana Grande na noite da última segunda-feira, 22, deixou pelo menos 22 mortos e 59 feridos na Manchester Arena, na Inglaterra.
Em uma publicação no Twitter, a cantora comentou a tragédia dizendo que estava "devastada". "Do fundo do meu coração, eu sinto muito. Não tenho palavras", lamentou.
O acontecimento, que foi reivindicado pelo Estado Islâmico e se assemelha ao que aconteceu no Bataclan, em Paris, durante uma apresentação do Eagles of Death Metal em 2015, abalou o mundo da música. Muitos artistas (incluindo Harry Styles, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry e Justin Timberlake) compartilharam memórias de shows na arena britânica, expressaram preocupação com os fãs e mandaram condolências às famílias, às vítimas e à própria cantora em publicações nas redes sociais.
