O In Memoriam de 2023 incluiu três apresentações - a de Kacey Musgraves, Quavo e Maverick City Music Mick Fleetwood e Bonnie. Os tributos foram direcionados a Loretta Lynn, Takeoff do Migo e Christine McVie e destacou nomes e rostos na tela, como o de Lisa Marie Presley, morta em janeiro após uma parada cardíaca.
Fãs destacaram que Taylor Hawkings também não foi homenageado, no entanto, fãs relembraram que o baterista foi lembrado em tributo durante a cerimônia do Grammy 2022. Já o nome de Aaron Carter, conforme destacado pela People, foi listado no In Memoriam físico do Grammy 2023.

Aaron Carter
O cantor pop morreu aos 34 anos em novembro do ano passado. Carter foi encontrado na banheira em sua casa na Califórnia. O músico iniciou a carreira musical no começo dos anos 1990, como cantor de pop. Ele lançou sete discos de estúdios - e tinha apenas nove anos quando lançou o primeiro trabalho - e vendeu milhões de cópias. Alguns anos depois, ele decidiu migrar para o rap.
