O site Louder fez uma seleção das 50 melhores músicas da carreira do Pink Floyd, com base na votação dos leitores. Formada em 1965, a banda mudou a história do rock. Com o álbum The Dark Side of the Moon, a banda vendeu mais do que Beatles e Led Zeppelin, nos anos 1970.

Obra prima da banda, todas as faixas do icônico The Dark Side of The Moon  foram citadas na lista da publicação, com exceção de “Any Colour You Like”. Músicas como “Time”, “Us and Them” e “The Great Gig In The Sky” entraram para o top 10 da publicação.

O clássico “Wish You Were Here”, de 1975, aparece em terceiro lugar. Do álbum The Wall (1979), “Another Brick in the Wall (Pt. 1)”, um dos maiores sucessos da banda, não entrou no top das 20 melhores, e “Comfortably Numb” é a música coroada como a melhor da banda.
